Men in Suits

The fellowship set up for men who want to be conformed to the image of Christ in everything they do.

Our fellowship known as the Real Men, has made up their minds to live the gospel-centered life with passion and purpose (Gal 2:20).
They are those ready to yield as vessels of honor using anything and everything legally righteous to encourage and mobilize all to live like Jesus in their homes, neighborhoods, at work, and around the world (Mark 16:15).

The Men’s Ministry at Oak House Church in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos is a very active Christ-centered fellowship, ministry, and mission outreach.  We aim to build a solid balance of spiritual growth and maturity, one-on-one evangelism, and mission work. We have become a vibrant “ministry to men” and a “ministry by men”… modeling the message in the lives of men until the image of Christ Jesus is evident in our everyday lives.

“THE REAL MEN” Men’s Ministry provides a variety of opportunities for men to fellowship, learn, and serve. The focus is on building strong, Christ-centered, trusting relationships while addressing the needs of men in sustaining and enhancing every “REAL MAN’S” walk with God. To capture the momentum of our ministry and sustain it in the lives of men, we organize monthly worship rallies, periodic prayer breakfasts, small study/sharing groups, group outings, and activities, and special men's conferences are just a few ways men can get involved in this dynamic ministry.

Men who are longing to live godly lives must dedicate time and energy to knowing God the Father and each other. As Christian brothers, we must choose to associate and fellowship with each other, build trust and support, encourage, challenge, and strengthen one another.  Men need other men of God to help develop god-like character in their lives, as Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

  • Christ-centered

  • Prayer and purpose-driven

  • Led by called, motivated, and trained leaders

  • Open and relevant to all men.

  • Sustained by God and trusting relationships

  • Balanced – spiritual growth, outreach, and mission work

  • Active, supportive Pastor

We believe that the components above are critical and that the spiritual growth foundations and the mission focus can be a winning combination for the Men’s Ministry in our church, regardless of size.

Our prayer is that our men’s ministry and all we do will be pleasing and acceptable to God.
